The Milling Process...

This is the place, where the crops are being processed, to satisfy the growing demand for high quality food. The building itself, has been created from scanned point cloud data, and the technology was added after, to have a truly functional factory. My goal is to show, that even factory buildings as well can look pleasing for the eye. The outside structure has many factory features, like catwalks, platforms, metal ladders. I decided to add unique cornice elements to the brick wall, and using limestone as material was a great choice. The truck came early morning to pour the valuable grain into the intake area. The process cycle has many machines, such as: bucket elevators, separators and grinders as well. The storage is taking place in the 4 Silos, located in the middle of the factory.
